Department of Transportation in the capital is set to apply a new odd-even license plate rule that traffic will take effect on August 30 .

The odd-even license plate rule is now in its test phase, which will continue until August 26. The rule applies only on weekdays during morning and evening rush hours and areas of congestion of the city - the vehicles are still allowed to operate as usual in non-congestion areas.
The morning rush hour period is set from 7:00 to 10:00, while in the afternoon / evening, it will run from 16h03-19 30. To comply with the new rules, vehicles with license plates ending in an odd number will be allowed to operate in congested areas on odd dates, and vehicles with license plates ending in an even number will be allowed to operate in congested areas on the same dates.

The regulation does not apply to the president, vice president, diplomats with plates "RI" license, fire departments, ambulances and vehicles together with plates yellow registration.
