Satish, what brought you to Indonesia in August 2013?
My work requires me to head and manage Emirates operations in a different country every three to four years. After finishing my visit to Kuwait, Yemen and Bangladesh, was asked to move to Indonesia, which I gladly accepted. There is a growing market in general and for Emirates, which has been operating in Jakarta since 1992.

How to be the Country Manager in Indonesia differed from that of the same be position in Yemen?
In terms of business volume, this is the largest among those I'm in position.

The Indonesian travel market is much more diverse and mature. Many segments exclude the industry here. These include business traffic, regional travelers, vacationers, packages, religious traffic, in addition to the spacious entrance tourism sector in Indonesia.

A simple comparison between Yemen and Indonesia would be in terms of our ability, so that, in Yemen, we offer 237 seats per day compared to 1284 seats per day out of Indonesia.

the business aircraft manufacturers see Indonesia as an emerging country for business aviation in Asia. Can you give us your thoughts on this?
The continued growth of Indonesia's economy is encouraging the growing number of consumer class means income for travel abroad. Indonesian travelers are increasingly flexible and spontaneous on travel and are much more willing to spend money on going to places they have never been before. This is certainly an exciting time for us at Emirates where we can meet the needs of the local population by providing world-class products at competitive prices.

Can you give us please a brief history on Emirates Airlines?
Emirates was founded as an airline in 1985 with two leased aircraft. It now flies to 142 destinations in 80 countries on six continents, providing air services to facilitate trade and travel to its base in Dubai and beyond. Emirates also connects millions of people every year in the field through its other operations, including Emirates Holidays, the destination marketing arm, and tour operator Arabian Adventures.

How do mainly aircraft Emirates Airline have in its fleet in the world? What are your growth expectations this year in terms of aircraft purchased?
Emirates Airline currently operates a fleet of 218 aircraft, all large aircraft. Of which 206 are passenger aircraft and 12 freighters are. It consists of Boeing 137 and 81 Airbus fleet. Emirates is the largest operator in the world of the double-decker Airbus 380, the largest aircraft in the world to passengers, with 47 of them in operation and 93 more on order. It should be mentioned that Emirates has a lounge, a bar and a shower room on board the plane, which also invest in quality and not just quantity.

At the Dubai Airshow in November 2013, Emirates ordered 200 aircraft, which is dubbed as the largest order in the history of civil aviation, rewriting all previous records. Our . order now stands at 374 aircraft worth USD 162 billion. This purchase supports and creates hundreds of thousands of jobs across the global supply chain of aviation and many of these new aircraft will replace the oldest in our fleet. With this, Emirates plans to fly 70 million passengers in 2020 -. And in collaboration with our partners in Dubai, we are already making progress on plans to ensure the right infrastructure is in place to support and capitalize on this growth

Could you there please tell us how Emirates Airline is worth?
In simple terms, I would say it is priceless. It is not just an airline, it is also a brand that is becoming an essential part of many travelers lifestyle. Our global sponsorship are spread over most sports like football, cricket, tennis, sailing, golf, horse racing, Formula 1, In monetary terms, I can share that Emirates has won more than 22 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year only in the exercise of 39.4 million passengers and 2.1 million tons of goods. It is even more difficult to quantify the value of our talented workforce of 48,000.

Emirates Airline is known for its outstanding business class. Can you tell us what you offer in saving trip?

ergonomic seats, legroom and superior service ensure that the economy class travel emirate stands out from the competition. Emirates was the first airline to offer travelers the economy with their own individual TV screens in 1992. Emirates has ensured that his flight entertainment system remained the same, while levels of catering and services always voted as world beaters in international prices of travel and investigation. Our ICE flight entertainment system (Information, Communications, Entertainment) won Best Airline in-flight entertainment world by Skytrax World Airline Awards for the eighth consecutive year.

Last year, Emirates Airline and Qantas have joined forces. Could you tell us a little more about this partnership?
Qantas and Emirates have joined forces in March 2013. This partnership marks a new era for Qantas and Emirates, and to the global aviation, as both carriers work together to provide the best network of lounges, loyalty benefits and travel experiences. Both companies offer the greatest common fleet of Airbus A380 passengers will be welcomed by Concourse A, first, purpose built world contest A380 to Dubai International Airport. This partnership will allow long-haul travel to be more transparent and faster for millions of Australia. Adelaide's customers, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney have access to one-stop to 65 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, the UK and Europe via the joint network Qantas and Emirates. Another major benefit to customers is the range of products we offer frequent travelers.

Emirates claims to have lower emissions than other airlines. Can you tell us more about it and what other programs or environmental progress you have?
Yes, indeed. Our goal is to make sustainability and eco-efficiency of the cornerstone of all our activities, both in the air and on the ground. Emirates has committed to environmentally friendly operations through the Group's environmental policy, which is implemented through the Environment program. What it means for an organization is growing our company to be economically viable, while using fewer resources and creating less waste and pollution.

In Australia, Emirates opened the 1600 hectares Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa in October 2009 - is one of the first luxury conservation resorts in Australia. The buildings of the resort are less than 2% of the conservation reserve and was designed with green building principles in mind. Wolgan Valley is also the first hotel certified carboNZero worldwide. In addition to Dubai, in collaboration with the Dubai government, Emirates Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve created to protect the habitat of the desert critical and a variety of endangered species.

I hear you are a golf man. What courses do you play to escape the capital? Which course is your favorite?
In my short time here, I have explored seven or eight golf courses. Damai Indah in BSD City and Rancamaya in Bogor are those I loved the most. A friend recently told me that a bad day at golf is better than a good day at the office. These beautiful golf courses in Indonesia made me think.

What do you believe is the key to your success
I think in the next two theories :?
1. Do not work to please your employer. Instead, work to please you.
2. Never stop experimenting. If you want something you never had, you have to do things you've never done.
