in the business profile of this issue, we meet Bill Lloyd, CEO of Asian Tigers Mobility Indonesia. Bill is an American expatriate who has been based in Indonesia since 1999.

Bill, I thank you taking the time to answer our questions. You're from California, USA, and grew up surfing, which is why you ended up on the coast of Indonesia. What you start doing when you moved here?

gave me the opportunity to head on a surf charter boat which chartered out at Anyer Ujung Kulon National Park and around the Krakatau area. I was working on this yacht in 2002.

How the opportunity to lead Asian Tigers Mobility is it born?

I'm the GM for a local competitor for a time, but once I realized who was who and what was what, I went after the best company in the industry . I look back on that decision and pride that I had to join the Asian Tigers, which has steadily increased over the last decade.

Which Asian Tigers Mobility services provide customers in Indonesia and Asia?

We are a one stop shop for comprehensive resettlement needs, from visa and immigration services at home finding, school placement, management rent, cultural and language training, orientation visits to our original business core packaging and shipping of the effects / household goods. Provide a full menu of services is the place where industry business relocation has changed and increased lately, and I think in the future, if you do not provide the full menu of services, you will not even be able to have a look at many of the company's business and may even possibly be shut your doors.

Asian Tigers Mobility has 30 offices in 14 countries, with annual sales of over US $ 115 million, making your company one of the most expert strong resettlement in Asia. What are the key factors of your business?

Asian tigers are not only the leaders and specialists of the internal market of Asia, we have a differentiator to go to choose the absolute cream of the crops when partners shipping outside of our own network Asian Tigers proven. We are not obligated to ship in a global network, allowing us to carefully select the best agent for any consignment or a particular area. We only work with FAIM accredited agents which are audited by Earnst & Young every two years. This ensures our customers the same and best service, no matter where they ship worldwide.

Tell us about your responsibilities in Asian Tigers. What is a typical day in your shoes?

Well, we have seven branches in Indonesia who need looking after, with a team of over 100 employees only here in Jakarta. I'm still very active in our sales on a daily basis, and everything you expect, even to investigate and move management VIP, friends and diplomats. I have such a great team that is so favorable and we created something really special to Asian tigers. People work with me, not for me, and that makes every "typical day" that much easier!

As a specialist relocations, are you noticed more mobile expatriates in Indonesia this year, or is the number decreased slightly, due to the tightening of immigration laws ?

in recent years, the inbounds far exceeded outbounds, but I would say that 2014 has finally seen the turning of the tide back to normal, where do much in, as well as exit; a beautiful and normal flow back contracts with replacement assignees taking over from those who move along their next assignment.

What other logistics trends have you noticed this year and what do you expect in 2015 has in store in Indonesia?

I think the logistics industry and the broader mobility industry, is a reflection of the economy of a country. Greater things await in 2015 for Indonesia - you can bet on it

Tell us a lesser known fact about the world of mobility

!.

When we talk about mobility and relocation services worldwide, taking the boxes and trucks of the equation, it is an industry dominated .ly feminine!

Jakarta, and Indonesia, is extremely modern, and people are more open to diversity. How is this good progress for your company?

Well, as Indonesia continues to grow and diversify, and the economy continues to do well, more and more Indonesian nationals get displayed in positions at 'foreign. This is great from a few angles that includes more business for us, being the resettlement experts in Indonesia, but also returning nationals continue to make slices of diversified crops rich and impressive in the world, which in turn feeds the machine further to the growth and diversity. divine balance, I call!

With our new president and Jakarta governor in power, do you think it is easier or more difficult to do business in Indonesia, and why?

It is early days with the new presidency, but I have the utmost faith that the new government will continue in the same direction of progress that SBY and his cabinet could lead. Foreign investment and international companies are a huge driving force behind modern Indonesia and success. Jokowi knows that this is true, while keeping the best national interests of Indonesia in mind.

Do you still surf? Where is your favorite escape from Jakarta to ride waves?

I SPORTING standard sunburn at present a three-day weekend in my favorite surf spot in the world, Pulau Ujung Kulon to Panaitan. I always religiously check the maps of daily weather forecasts to monitor the swell and weather conditions. Modern technology allows us to see the best days of surf coming before they arrive and I'm still on it day this question.

The motto of your life is "forward ever, backward never." How this currency tie with your work ethic

There goes ?; you must put your best foot at every step of the way. Nobody is perfect and part of the beauty forward is to make mistakes and learn from them. If you are completely transparent with learning from those mistakes, people you work with and recognize you appreciate all the more human!

Tell us how Jakarta has grown over years on?

It has been 15 years of living here now, and about 20 years to come and go. I watched quite a bit of change in Jakarta that time and being optimistic I like to think I am, enjoy how far it has come. For me personally, it is an honor to have the opportunity to live and work in a city and diverse country and move on. It is also amazing to live and work in the epicenter of the Indonesian economy, but being able to balance it with more than 40 incredible golf courses and world class, as well as having the isolation and Jurassic Park Ujung Kulon beauty only a drive and boat ride away. Did I mention the divine balance?
